Waiver Requirement
All clients will complete and sign a Permanent Jewelry Waiver & Consent Form at their appointment before services are performed. This form covers safety information, risks, and aftercare responsibility.
Service Risks & Safety
Permanent jewelry is welded while worn on the body. The process is quick and typically painless, but there are inherent risks, including minor burns, skin irritation, allergic reactions, and temporary discomfort.
Clients should disclose any medical conditions, skin sensitivities, or allergies before their appointment.
Permanent jewelry welding is not recommended for individuals with pacemakers, defibrillators, or other electrical medical devices.
Jewelry Responsibility
Permanent jewelry is designed for everyday wear but is not indestructible. Chains may break due to snagging, stretching, impact, or normal wear. Once you leave your appointment, Pink + Chain is not responsible for lost, damaged, or broken jewelry.
Jewelry may need to be removed for medical procedures (MRIs, surgeries, imaging, etc.) and can be safely cut off if necessary.
Metal Sensitivities
We use high-quality jewelry materials, but reactions are still possible. If you have known metal allergies or skin sensitivities, please consult a medical professional before receiving permanent jewelry.
Age Requirement
Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the consent waiver before services are provided.
Travel & Mobile Service Fees
Pink + Chain is a mobile permanent jewelry service.
Pittsburg Appointments
• $5 travel/set-up fee for appointments under $100
• Travel fee waived for groups of 4 or more
Outside Pittsburg
• Travel fees based on distance
• Service minimum depending on location
*Travel details are always discussed before your appointment is confirmed.
Parties & Pop-Ups
Private parties and pop-up events may require a minimum guest count or service total depending on location.
Events booked in advance may have the option to request custom chain or charm sourcing specifically for their event.
Inventory Availability
Chain and charm styles are curated and may vary by event. Some styles may sell out or rotate seasonally. If you are hoping for something specific, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
Re-Weld & Repair Policy
• One complimentary re-weld is offered if your jewelry breaks
• Additional re-welds are $5 per weld
• Extra chain needed for resizing or repair may require an additional charge
Tarnish Replacement Policy
Within 30 Days:
Free replacement of the same chain (or one of similar value) OR 50% refund after returning the chain (customer responsible for shipping)
30–60 Days:
Replacement at 50% off OR 20% refund with returned chain
After 60 Days:
Full replacement cost applies
Lost Chain Replacement Policy
Within 7 Days: Free replacement
8–30 Days: 50% off replacement
30–60 Days: 20% off replacement
After 60 Days: Full replacement cost applies
(Replacement must be the same chain style and applied to the same area.)
Refund Policy
Permanent jewelry is custom-fit at the time of service. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges
Photo & Video
We may take photos or videos during appointments and events for social media and marketing. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, just let us know — we completely respect your privacy.
Liability
By choosing to receive services from Pink + Chain, clients acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with permanent jewelry.
